RARO sits facing the Church of San Pantalon, away from the current of the crowds. Inside: low light, few tables, and a kitchen that reads the lagoon and the seasons. Our cellar travels the length of Italy — north to south, still to sparkling — and at the bar the classics are made properly: Spritz, Hugo, Americano. We are not for everyone. We are for those who look for us.

Greenery trails softly across the bar, where the great Italian classics stand in quiet rows — and every glass waiting on the shelf is hand-blown in Murano, no two alike.

This is the room we built for evenings that deserve better than a hurry: low light, soft voices, the first pour of the night.
